Religious Studies at Les Quennevais provokes challenging questions about the meaning and purpose of life, issues of right and wrong, current affairs, different viewpoints, and ways of life.
Through our curriculum, we develop student's knowledge and understanding of Christianity in conjunction with other religious traditions and world views that may offer answers to such challenging questions. Religious Studies offers a platform within school to learn from these different beliefs, while exploring individual opinions and values, enabling students to develop their own identity and sense of belonging.
As a Department we strive to enable our students to flourish as citizens of a diverse, multi-cultural global community, with an ability to make informed, critical judgements and show empathy and respect for others.
