Dance

An exciting addition to our curriculum, GCSE Dance is running for its second year at Les Quennevais School. Dance is explored through both practical and theory work, with an emphasis on building skills necessary to be a practitioner in the current dance industry.

Following the AQA specification, Dance aims to develop students into skilled performers and choreographers, whilst developing an ability to study professional dance works. Students explore choreographic techniques and the works of six of the dance industry's most prolific companies such as Rambert and Stopgap.

Students also have the opportunity to perform at the Jersey Eisteddfod, watch and work with professional companies in workshops and showcase your work through evenings at school.
